The Bottoms is nationally known for the world class whitetails we hold. We offer archery, shotgun, and muzzleloader hunts.

Quality Management
Beginning in 1995 we started a Quality Deer Management Program. Before our management was intensified there was a 236 net non-typical harvested in 1991 and a 234 5/8 net non-typical harvested in 1994. We believe the genetics are as good or better here at The Bottoms than anywhere in the country, but you be the judge and look at the giant 8-pointer caught on film in January of 2004 (pictured in our trail cam archive gallery). This huge 8-pointer is a potential world record and it's still roaming The Bottoms.

The first year The Bottoms offered archery hunts to the public was in 2001. Since that time there have been several nice bucks harvested and several Boone & Crockett bucks seen. All of our deer stands are safe and very comfortable for an all day sit in the woods. All of our stands are taken down and re-hung after scouting every year.

Maturity Compliments Potential
When hunting at The Bottoms you will be required to harvest a minimum of 140 inch deer. If this minimum of 140 inches is not met, management will enforce a fine of $1000. There is also a penalty of $750 for harvesting a button buck. This requirement is put in place to insure our goal of being and remaining a world class whitetail outfitter.
