Here is what some of our hunters have said about The Bottoms.

I have hunted at The Bottoms for 5 years. Harvested bucks 3 out of the 5. My biggest buck scored 147". The potential for harvesting a trophy is outstanding. During the 2009 season, I shot over the back of a main frame 8 with sticker on right G 2. He is the first deer in the trail cam section. He will be awesome in 2010. I saw several bucks in 2009 that will make the 140 minimum in 2010. The lodge, food and guide service is top notch. Barry and his team are dedicated to making the hunt and time at the lodge memorable. I truly believe if I am patient, I will harvest a booner at the bottoms.

I first hunted The Bottoms in 2005 and harvested a 132" PY buck. In 2006, I harvested a 147 PY buck. In 2007, I did not take a buck but I did pass on a mature heavy horned non typical. If I could archery hunt for whitetail deer at only one place in the US it would be at The Bottoms.

The Bottoms is World Class!!!! The Lodge, World Class!!! The Hunting, World Class!!! Pretty much so sums it all up! Everything I have ever seen in the deer woods in 20 years of hunting, I seen it in 5 days. The guides and the entire Bickett family are friends for life. As long as I'm breathing, I will do my best to be there every year!!!!!!

2008 was my first trip to Gallatin County and The Bottoms. All I can say is that the deer hunting experience I had that week was totally unimaginable. I sat in the woods from daylight to dark and literally saw bucks running the woods at every time of the day! I had such a great time that even though was never able to connect on a trophy I reserved a spot for this past season as soon as I could. And boy am I glad I did! My second morning in the stand of my 2009 trip I took my best buck ever; a 150in 11pt! Best part is he wasn't even the biggest buck in that area! The only thing that is better than the hunting at The Bottoms is the staff and the accommodations. I was able to watch firsthand how Barry and the guides work tirelessly on finding deer and giving the hunters every opportunity to harvest a trophy. The only negative part of my time there was a lack of sleep. It wasn't because of uncomfortable beds (I wish my bed at home felt that good!); it had more to do with what was waiting for me in the woods every morning. If you are passionate about BIG whitetails and bow hunting then The Bottoms is a little slice of heaven on Earth. Needless to say Barry I will see you this fall! PS- If you plan on making a trip there this fall pack some Nyquil!
